Description

The contract will be to provide fully Contractor operated and maintenance helicopter flight services consisting of two light turbine helicopters (Bell 407, AS 350 B-2, B-3, Bell LIV with high altitude tail rotor system or equal) in support of the Grand Teton National Park and Bridger Teton National Forest wildland fire management and short-haul and rappel search and rescue programs. The helicopters will be based at Jackson, Wyoming. The Contractor(s) will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required under the contract. And as well will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The term of each item will be one year with options to renew for four additional years. One item will be a 140-day exclusive use period beginning approximately June 4 and extending through October 21 and the other item 120-day exclusive use period beginning approximately June 18 and extending through October 15.
