Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer contractor questions concerning the requirement for solicitation USZA92-01-Q-0004, titled, "DISASSEMBLY, TRANSPORTATION AND REASSEMBLY OF ONE, SIX-SECTIONAL MOBILE OFFICE for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: Q1) Are the interior walls of this building tape and textured? If not then what material is used? A1) The interior walls are tape and textured. Q2) Are the axles, tires, and hitches provided? A2) Yes. Q3) Is the building roofed with flat metal or is it a shingle roof? Does the mobile unit have a metal roof or rubber roof? A3) The building has a rubber roof. Q4) Is the modular to be set on concrete runners at the new site? A4) No. Q5. Is the modular outside sided with wood or metal? A5) Metal. Q6) What type of material is the building skirted with now? A6) Metal. Q7) What type of flooring is in the building: carpet, tile or metal strip between the two sides? A7) Metal strip between the two sides. Q8) Is the ground level (height) at the new location about the same for under pinning to fit back? A8) It is very close to the same and should require very little adjustments. Q9) Is the object to be moved a mobile home or mobile office space? A9) Mobile office space. PLEASE NOTE PERFORMANCE DATE REQUIREMENT CHANGE: The dates available for performance of this requirement at Camp Mackall are 3 Jan 01 through 13 Jan 01 and 20 Jan 01 through 27 Jan 01. PLEASE NOTE: No work can be performed at Camp Mackall on 14 Jan 01 through 19 Jan 01 and again 28 Jan 01 through 2 Feb 01. QUOTES ARE DUE: Quotes shall be received at HQ, USASOC ATTN: AOCO (Barbara Bowles), Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 28310, NOT LATER THAN 4:00 p.m. ET, 29 DECEMBER 2000. Fax submissions will be accepted at (910) 432-9345. All quotes must reference the Request for Quotation number USZA92-01-Q-0004. Quotes shall include: (1) original letter signed by an individual authorized to bind the organization, with a schedule of offered items to include price and proposed start date, (2) completed Representations and Certifications, and (3) acknowledgement of any amendments that may be issued.
