Description
McChord AFB intends to establish a negotiated service contract for operating a Commercial Travel Office. Period of performance will be a Base period of 1 Apr 2001 through 31 Mar 2002, with four one-year Option periods. Contractor shall provide personnel, equipment and license to operate a commercial travel office at McChord AFB for official government and leisure travel. This acquisition will be accomplished as a Commercial Service in accordance with FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiations. In conformance with FAR 19-1300, this acquisition is being considered for a HUBZone set-aside. Are you familiar with the government charge card system? ______ 8) Travelers without individual cards will be using Centrally Billed Account (CBA).Is your agency familiar with this system? ___ 9) How soon can your company be operational after award? _________ Base on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this a HUBZone set-aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HUBZone set-aside, the acquisition will be considered for a 100% small business set-aside. Therefore interested small business should provide the same information listed above. If after evaluation of this information there is no reasonable explanation of adequate competition from the small business, the acquisition will be conducted using full & open competition. Offerors will be evaluated using Price Performance Trade-Off. The solicitation package will be issued on or about 21 Jan 2001. The applicable Standard Classification (SIC) is 4724, size standard is 1.0m, NAICS 561510. The solicitation package will be posted EXCLUSIVELY on the electronic posting system at HTTP://www.eps.gov following links USAF Office, Air Mobility Comand, McChord AFB. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT.
