Description

POC: To order bid package, interested firms may either (1) fax requests, complete with company information, shipping address, point of contact, phone number, fax number and business size to Barbara Hackett at 509/527-7802 or (2) email requests containing all information to barbara.a.hackett@usace.army.mil or (3) register via the Walla Walla District's Web Page at the URL listed below. DESC: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, has a competitive requirement to provide towboat service, fully operated and maintained, to transport Government-owned fish barges on the Snake and Columbia River systems. Work will be performed in the area between Lower Granite Reservoir (near Lewiston, Idaho) on the Snake River and the area near Portland, Oregon, on the Columbia River. Towboats shall be inspected prior to contract award. Basic contract will be for a base work period beginning on or about April 6, 2001 through December 16, 2001, with one (1) optional work period. ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION: This is not an invitation for bid, but a notice that a solicitation will be issued for this requirement. Any contract resulting from this advertisement will be awarded on a Firm Fixed-Price basis. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns. Size standard for small business concerns is under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 488330 is $5 million average annual receipts for the past three fiscal year periods. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency.
