Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0061 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, ETM-ELECTROMATIC INC, NEWARK, CA FAR 6.302-1. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 335311 and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001; 1 each, Sub-Assembly, 50 KV High Voltage Power Supply, ETM-Electromatic Part Number: A27974-000, It includes the Main 50 KV High Voltage Transformer that is inserted in insulating oil and has water cooling all of which is housed in a metal tank external to the 5 bays of the modulator. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 6 months after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC Crane. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
