Description

The USDA, ARS, National Soil Dynamics Laboratory, Auburn, Alabama intends to procure a AgGPS Autopilot system with AgGPS field computer. The automatic steering system is for use on a JD 8300 series tractor that uses RTK GPS technology and is capable of repeatable trafficking the same location with less than 2 cm error. Includes an AgGPS 214 RTK GPS receiver, AgGPS 214 Base station, and AgGPS Autopilot pieces less hydraulic hoses in accordance with specifications as stated in the solicitation. An RFQ will be issued on or about January 12, 2001. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the RFQ package.
