Notice of Contract Action. Air Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement to provide non-personal services to repair and maintain the Air Force supplied Locam II, 16mm high-speed cameras, Model 50-0006, lens, and related accessories used on high performance military aircraft recording pictorial information in flight test environment. Period of performance is the date of award through 30 Sep 2001, with four, one year options. Repair services for 33 each cameras to include: inspection, cleaning, lubing, adjusting, replacing worn or defective parts, checking operation of equipment to factory specifications, repair of electronic components, software changes to correct operational deficiencies, and preventive maintenance. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Visual Instrumentation Corporation, unless responses to this notice reveal other sources capable of providing the Government_s requirements with better terms and conditions. Interested offerors must submit adequate evidence to demonstrate their capability to provide such services. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Firms responding must identify their company_s business size (i.e., small business, large business, small-disadvantaged business, or woman-owned business, etc.).
