- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 01SQ170493 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331525. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Requirement: Contract Line Item No. 1 for 760 each bronze bushings. Description of requirement: Bushing, Bronze, 1.382/1.378 inch inside diameter x 2.374/2.376 inch outside diameter x 1.75 inch length, self-lubricated, non-deteriorating graphite-free PTFE solid lubricant capable of long-term exposure to flowing water. Lubricant shall be permanently compressed into circular recesses covering a minimum of 30 percent of the bearing surface, with an additional coating applied to 100 percent of the bearing surface areas (inside and outside diameters). Material shall be consistent with ASTM B148-C95500HT(UNS C95500HT) heat treated nickel aluminum bronze for operating loads up to 6 ksi. Grand Coulee Dam Drawing No. 222-D-8247 P/N 3T is applicable to this acquisition and is available upon request. Lubron AQ100 or equal. If quoting an equal, descriptive literature shall be submitted with quote. FAR provision 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation and award will be made using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. A completed copy of the FAR provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items shall be included with your quote. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited in Clause 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition and are incorporated in this contract by reference: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, and 52.232-34. The following additional FAR Clause is applicable to this acquisition and is incorporated in this contract by reference: 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal. Please specify in your quotation the earliest possible delivery date you can provide. Delivery to be made to: US Bureau of Reclamation, WHSE B, Door 6, Industrial Area, Grand Coulee, WA 99133.
