Description

Numbered Notes 22 and 23 are applicable to this requirement. The proposed contract action is for a conference for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Westin Resort, Hilton Head, SC) under the authority of FAR 6.302. This requirement is for the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services(DACOWITS)Fall Conference 2001. The conference dates are October 22 -- 28, 2001 and the designated location is Hilton Head,SC. The estimated room nights is 422. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to 4:00 PM local time, January 3, 2001 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
