Description

17. Replace Boiler at Building 6804. Disconnect existing gas line, electrical wiring and conduit, domestic water, steam supply, and condensate return piping from existing boiler. Remove existing Cleaver Brooks Boiler Model Number CBH-700-30, Serial Number L. Install new boiler and reconnect all utilities complete. Contractor shall furnish and install pipe, valves, fittings, check valves, insulation, etc., from points disconnected to new boiler. Reconnect electrical wiring and conduit to new boiler. Install new Kewanee Boiler, Factory packaged, Scotch Design, Firetube Type, Three-pass, Waterback, Model H3S-30-G, as manufactured by Kewanee Boiler Manufacturing Company or an approved equal. Boiler shall be natural gas, 150 psi steam. Boiler firing mode shall be full modulation with 1255 MBH input and 1004 MBH output (30 horsepower). Boiler shall be 208 volt, 3 phase, with a forced draft burner. Boiler shall be furnished with the following accessories: Fireye E110/EPD160/ED510 flame safeguard system as manufactures by Fireye Company or an approved equal. McDonnell & Miller 150, Combination Low-Water Cut-Off and Pump Contro. Probe type second Low-Water cut-off, lifting loops, relief valve, operating controls, stack thermometer, burner control cabinet with lights, switches and fuses, potentionmeter and insulated jackets. Install Rear boiler blow-down valve and Apollo Style (3), Type II, threaded bronze, full port ball valves or an approved equal. The period of performance is 60 calendar days. Forth coming contract will be firm-fixed price. The estimated range for this project is $25,000 t0 $100,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. Fort Campbell is using the internet for advertising and issuing solicitations.
