Description

This is a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate a sole-source contract with Coherent, Inc., 5100 Patrick Henry Drive,P56, Santa Clara CA 95045 for the Institute of Surgical Research, Fort Sam Houston Texas. The requirement is for the following items: 1. Compass 415m300 Laser, 532nm, Head, Controller and Cable. 2. Compass 415m300 Laser, Power Supply. 3. Compass 415m300 Laser, Heat Sink. 4. Requires ability to deliver and irradiance of 5W/cm2 at a wavelength of 515nm. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See Numbered Note 22.
