Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI). The information received will be used in assessing the availability of small passenger aircraft service for the Department of Defense (DOD). The routing is Norfolk Naval Air Station -- Jacksonville Naval Station -- Guantanomo Naval Base and return the same route in reverse. Friday service is requested, however, if recurring Friday's cannot be met, request an alternate day be provided. The following additional information is provided: -- ACL: 30-35 Pax -- Period of Performance: Fridays (Once a week starting ASAP) -- Route: KNGU-KNIP-MUGM-KNIP-KNGU The following additional information is required: -- Availability (How soon can you begin service? What days can you fly?) -- Cost (Per seat mile)? -- Configuration (How many seats, type, pitch, width, etc . . . )? -- Amenities (Hot meals, snacks, etc . . . )? -- Flight Times: KNGU-KNIP and KNIP-MUGM? Selection of a contractor will be based on competitive proposal with an initial contract awarded in 2001. This agency has not made a final commitment to procure the stated requirement and the synopsis of this RFI should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. This agency is interested in obtaining responses to this RFI from prospective contractors but no contractor shall be reimbursed for providing this information; therefore, the Air Force will accept the requested information in whatever format is provided. All information provided by the contractor will become property of the Air force and will not be returned. Responses are required within 30 days of this notice.
