Description

VA is soliciting proposals to establish a prime vendor contract for the distribution of food and foodservice equipment items nation wide. Some 172 VA medical facilities are involved along with some other government agencies. The contract will be for one year plus four options, with an award anticipated on or about October 1, 2001. The solicitation is to be released onto VA's Business Opportunity System (BOS) http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=101-34-00 on or about December 28, 2000, with proposals due by February 16, 2001.
