- Description
- The GSA Pacific Rim Region is attempting to determine the whether multiple qualified contractors are availble to perform specialized engineering services related to an on-going project. Information received will not be considered an offer, will in no way obligate the contractor and does not create any obligation on the part of GSA. The requirement involves continuing engineering efforts related to wide-area integration of an existing base of building automation systems (BAS), and ancillary engineering efforts relating to optimization of BAS systems and mechanical and electrical systems, and related computer information systems. Requirements are: (1) extensive experience with wide-area or metropolitan-area integration of building systems (incorporating existing legacy systems from multiple vendors, not simply adding new systems at facilities); (2) extensive experience with BACnet communication protocol; (3) experience with Alerton BACtalk and Automated Logic Corp. BAS systems; (4) experience integrating Johnson Controls Metasys and 85/40 BAS systems into a BACnet-based wide-area network; (5) experience with integrating BAS data into a computer information systems infrastructure involving multiple applications; (6) experience with utility and state commission public purpose programs (preferably in California); (7) experience in coordination with the R&D efforts of federal research organizations (e.g. DOE national laboratories, NIST) in building technologies; (8) experience with construction management of BAS and MEP projects.
