- STATEMENT OF WORK: Line Item 0001: Teardown and Evaluate for Repair of two (2) each Power Turbine Modules T700-701 SN: GE-L-004674 and GE-L-004896. The vendor is required to pick up modules at Houston AASF, Building 1183, Ellington Field, Houston, Texas and return to the same location. Contractor will be responsible for supplying containers for modules and for transportation to and from Houston, Texas. Contractor is to completely disassemble, clean, and evaluate for cost to repair both modules listed above are from an AH64A Helicopter engine, Technical Manual TM55-1520-238-23P. If the requesting unit chooses not to have the modules repaired after receipt of the quotation for repair, the contractor is to reassemble the modules and return to Houston, Texas. Time allocated for the tear down, evaluation and quotation for repair is 30 days from the date of contract award and receipt of the modules at the vendors location. Vendor must warrant that they are a "FAA Turbine Engine Repair Facility". Work shall be performed in accordance with DMWR 1-2840-248-1/2. No repairs shall be performed on modules until Agency has been notified of the cost of repairs and the contractor has been issued a "Notice to Proceed". The quotation for repairs to be provided to the Contract Issuing Office: USPFO for Missouri, shall include; a itemized list of parts (the Agency reserves the right to provide any required parts), total cost for repair. Submitted repair proposals shall include a Technical Statement of Discovery and work to be performed. Line Item 0002: Teardown and evaluate for repair of Cold Section Module T700, SN: GE-C-037455. The vendor is required to pick-up the cold section module from the MO-AVCRAD Shop, 2501 Lester Jones Avenue, Springfield, MO 65803. The contractor will be responsible for supplying containers for modules and for transportation to and from the MO-AVCRAD. The vendor is to disassemble and evaluate cold section module in totality for repairs and replacement as necessary, refurbishment of airflow tolerances per plasma coating to factory specifications, and test cell run in accordance with DMWR 55-2840-248-2. The contractor is to provide an itemized Proposal for Repair, if the Government chooses not to proceed with the repair the contractor is to reassemble the module and return to Springfield, MO. Time allocated for the tear down and providing the quotation is 30 days from the receipt of the contract award. Vendors to be considered must be a "FAA Certified Turbine Repair Facility" and provide a 1,000 warranty on repair. No repairs shall be performed on the module until the Agency has been provided a repair proposal and the contractor has been provided a "notice to proceed". The proposal shall include and itemized list of parts ( the Government reserves the right to provide and required parts), total cost for repair. Submitted repair proposals shall include a Technical Statement of Discovery and work to be performed.
