Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and supplies necessary to perform custodail services at Fort Rucker, Alabama for the base period 1 April 2001 through 30 September 2001 with four (4) option years (e.g. 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002). Anticipated issued date on/about 29 january 2001 with bid opening date on/about 28 February 2001. Set-aside for Small Business Concerns whose average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for its preceding three years must not exceed $12,000,000. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Bid Bond/Bid Guarantee (Standard Form 24) with good and sufficient surety or surties acceptable to the Government, or other security in the form of twenty precent (20% of the bid price or $3,000,000, whichever is lesser. Additionally, the bidder to whom award is made shall submit within 10 days after award, a Performance Bond (Standard Form 1418) and a Payment Bond (Standard Form 1416). The penal sum of such bond shall be one hundred precent (100%) for the Performance Bond and fifty percent (50%) of the contract price for the Payment Bond. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be furnished by the contractor to the Contracting Officer, prior to commencement of contract performance. Custodial Services consist of basic janitoral services for buildings receiving service 1 day/night per week or every other day/night per week. Stripping and rewaxing floors, based on an estimated square footage (SF) and carpet cleaning, based on an estimated square footage (SF).
