Description

This is Amendment 003 to the synopsis/solicitation N00421-01-R-0015 for overhaul and repair of helicopter instruments that originally appeared in the CBD on Thursday, 16 November 2000, Submission No. 5068P9. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for proposals, correct a typographical error in the synopsis/solicitation of 11/16/00, and provide additional information and requirement for requesting copies of technical publications. The due date for submission of proposals has been extended from 5 January 2001 to 31 January 2001, by 2:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. The part number listed as S6145-61430-2 is hereby corrected to S6145-61430-002. The procedure as outlined in Amendment 002 to obtain copies of technical publications has been changed. Contractors who request copies of Technical Publications must provide a copy of their current approved DD 2345 showing their Military Critical Technical Data Agreement Number (MCTDA). If you need to apply for a number, you must forward a completed DD Form 2345 "Military Critical Technical Data Agreement," to the Defense Logistics Information Service Center. The DLIS address and specific instructions for completing and processing the form are included on the reverse side of the form. A copy of DD 2345 can be obtained online in fillable PDF format at http://web1.whs.osd.mil/forms/DD2345.PDF or by fax from the POC listed below. If you already have a current MCTDA number and have requested copies of the Technical Publications, your request will be processed as soon as you fax a copy of your approved DD 2345 to the POC listed below. If you do not have a MCTDA number and have requested copies of the Technical Publications, your request will be held on file until you obtain one and forward a copy of your approved DD 2345 to the POC listed below. Responses to this solicitation should include acknowledgment of receipt of this Amendment 003. As noted above, the proposal due date of 5 January 2001 has been extended to 31 January 2001, no later than 2:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
