- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are hereby requested and no written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is F09650-00-Q-1040. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The applicable NAICS code is 541614. The solicitation includes one year plus four annual options. Item X001 is for manpower support services of one individual (Logistics Management Specialist) to support the DoD AIMS program. Item X002 is for overtime. Item X003 is for reimbursement of travel costs. These items are included in all option periods. This solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. Performance will begin approximately 16 Jan 01. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) may be viewed at the following web site: http://pkec.robins.af.mil/pr/mssc/mssc.htm. INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONTRACTING WITH INDIVIDUALS PROGRAM MUST CONFIRM THEIR PROPOSAL. A NEW OR ADDITIONAL PROPOSAL IS NOT REQUIRED; HOWEVER, PREVIOULSY SUBMITTED PROPOSALS MAY BE REVISED OR UPDATED. This requirement requires the services of one individual with skills equivalent to a GS-346-12, Logistics Management Specialist, to support the DoD International Air Traffic Control Radar Beacon System, Identification Friend or Foe, Mark XII, Systems (AIMS) program at the AIMS Program Office at WR-ALC, Robins AFB GA. Offers will be evaluated on a best value basis. Evaluation factors, in descending order of importance, are experience, past performance, price, education and general considerations. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies. The following FAR clauses are also applicable: 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, and 52.222-37. DOD FAR Supplement (DFARS) 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items is applicable with the following DFARS clause checked: 252.225-7001.
