Description

Solicitation for Facilities Cleaning, Refuse Pick-Up and Removal and Fee Collection, at Clark's Ferry Recreation Area, Mississippi River, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, Clock Tower Building, Rock Island, IL 61204-2004. Solicitation will be issued on or about 01/08/01. Contract will be for a 1-year period with one additional option period. All responsive proposals will be considered. The period of performance for the base period for facilities cleaning and refuse pick-up is April 13, 2001 thru October 9, 2001 and for fee collection, the period of performance is April 07, 2001 thru Noon on October 10th 2001. The period of performance for the option period for facilities cleaning and refuse pick-up is April 12, 2002 thru October 08, 2002 and for fee collection, the period of performance is April 9, 2002 thru Noon on October 9, 2002. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil/. Contractors will be able to download the solicitation. The solicitation will include daily facilities cleaning, daily refuse pick-up and disposal and fee collection at the recreation site. The contractor will provide and live in a self contained recreational vehicle that shall possess; at a minimum, electrical service, a toilet, a private phone, and a refrigerator. The vehicle will be parked at a site designated by the Government at least 24 hours, but no sooner than two weeks in advance of the work period. See Numbered Note 1.
