Description

Notice that the General Service Administration, FTS Region 10, 4040 Wheaton Way Suite 111, Bremerton, WA. 98310 intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order with Mecco, Inc. P.O. Box 790, Duvall, WA. 98019 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. For CLIN 0001, 150 VMG-4-FS-RA connector w/G-FLS-D locking sleeve on one end of 130" Belden 8424 Cable, CLIN 0002 150 VMG-4-FS-RA connector w/G-GLS-D locking sleeve on one end, threaded through tygon and SS tubing then VMG-4-FS connector w/G-FLS-D locking sleeve molded to other end of 188" Belden 8424 cable, CLIN 0003 200 VMG-4-FS-RA connector we/G-GLS-D locking sleeve on end and VMG-4-MP connector w/G-MLS-D locking sleeve other end of 132" Belden 8424 cable, CLIN 0004 200 VSG-4-BCL bulkhead connector, CLIN 0005 50 XSK-5-BCL bulkhead connector, CLIN 0006 12 RMK-5-FS-RA connectors w/K-FLS=D locking sleeve on 48" pigtail of standard 18/5 SO cable, CLIN 0007 24 MINI-RM4-FS connector with MINI locking sleeve on standard 18" pigtail. This request is considered to be sole source to Mecco, Inc. therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. All price quotations shall be submitted to Frank Gilger, not later than 4:00 P.M., PST, January 4, 2001. Price quotations may be sent via either facsimile to (360) 782-2010 or by email to frank.gilger@GSA.GOV. No telephone requests for this RFQ will be honored. Numbered Note 1 & 22 applies.
