Description

UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Definite Delivery/ Definite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for Terry Cloth, Towels, Wash Cloth and Blankets type Materials. FOB Destination to USP Terre Haute, IN. Period of Performance will commence date of award through One (1) year thereafter with One (1) Option Year, if exercised. Product: Cotton 100% Yarn, Color: White, No Wax Natural. Delivery will be required 30 days after receipt of each delivery order. Maximum Quantity 2,180,000 LBS, and Minimum Quantity 210,000 LBS,. Bid Samples are required to insure the vendor's product is in compliance with the required specifications. Bid samples will be tested at Unicor, Terre Haute, IN. Test results may vary from the vendor's due to machine calibration or adjustments. A three (3) cone bid sample is to be provided at the Vendor's expense for evaluation, shipping will be by the most convenient method. Samples are due at the above address prior to bid opening. J. Tracey will evaluate samples, for compliance to strength and weight specifications. A test report is required with each shipment. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation package. The solicitation will be posted to UNICOR's Web Page on or about January 5, 2001.
