Description

Provide Type 3 Air Tanker flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Land Management fire suppression program at Twin Falls, Idaho. The contract period will be from date of award until July 14, 2002 with exclusive use period of July 15 to September 28. The Term of the contract is one year with a government unilateral option for three additional years. The contract requires one type 3 air tanker with a Interagency Air Tanker Board (IATB) approved hopper capacity of at least 800 gallons of material weighing eight pounds per gallon (6,400 pounds.) The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137.
