Description

The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to award a sole source procurement to the Richards Corporation, Sterling, VA for the purchase of 15 GFL 918L W Table Top Light Tables, Catalog No. 910151D, without film drive, with Microscope Bridge, Catalog No. 910161. These light tables can accommodate the Zoom-240 Stereoscopes which NIMA currently owns. The light tables are portable and compact in design, and the viewing surface which utilizes high quality selected glass, can be used in the horizontal position or tilted 30-45 degrees. This is a synopsis of intent to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 12 -- Commercial Items. The authority for sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1(a), 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Responsible sources that are interested in this procurement may respond by providing clear and convincing information that identifies their ability to provide the product. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Attn: Rachel Glaros, (301) 227-4793, by 2:00 P.M., EST, 22 January 2001. It is the responsibility of the sender to confirm if facsimiles have been received. Note 22 applies with the exception of the proposal response time.
