Description

The U.S. Department of Justice requires the services of a hotel in Washington, DC, convenient to public transportation, located within a seven block radius of 810 7th Street, NW, to provide and perform the following:1)Ballroom set up in rounds for 175 participants from June 6 -- 8, 2001. 2)500 sleeping rooms, 160 each night on June 5, 6, 7, 2001 and 20 on June 8, 2001 -- based on a rate not to exceed the Government per diem allowance for the region. 3)(2) Projection screens with black drapery on each side of the panel. (2) front or rear screen projectors for image magnification. 4)Sound system/amplification, to include (6) table microphones, (1) microphone on the lectern and (1) mult-box. The sound system should feed the VHS record deck, the mult-box and speakers. Please include at least four speakers in your quote (or house sound with speakers throughout the room). 5)(2) Wireless handheld microphones for audience questions. 6)Risers in the back of the ballroom for press. 7)(3) continental breakfasts, buffet lunches and afternoon snacks will be required each day June 6, 7, 8, 2001. The breakfast should be ready by 8:00 a.m. The lunch buffets should be ready by Noon each day. The afternoon snacks should be available at 2:30 p.m. in the back of the ballroom or just outside the room. A purchase order will be awarded to the bidder whose offer is determined to be the most advantageous to the Government. The quote package must include a line item breakdown for the services requested. Quotes must be received by 4:00 p.m. on 2/15/01.
