Description

The U.S.Department of Education intends to award a sole source award to GELCO, 1860 Michael Faraday Drive, Suite 150, Reston, VA 20190-5304; in order to provide Third Party Payment Services(TPPS) to the DoED. Independently, and not as an agent of the Department of Education, the Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, materials, services, and facilities, and any other products or services necessary to operate a Department wide Third Party System. As an overview, the TPPS requires the contractor to: (1) Provide each Department Representative with a supply of payment instruments drawn on the contractor's account (2) Process the payment instruments as they are presented for payment; (3)Invoice the Department and (4) Provide management and accounting information captured from the payment instruments.
