Description

This publication serves as a notice of intent to procure, on a sole-source basis, with URS/Dames and Moore, for Phase II work which is follow-on work to Phase I on the Alaska Groundfish Fisheries Programmatic Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement(SEIS). Phase I work under the contract included providing analytical support services for three major tasks: cumulative impact assessments, ecosystem impact assessment, and socio-economic impact assessments and to deliver a draft form of the SEIS. Phase II work will require the contractor to prepare slides, posters and other materials, from data developed under Phase I, for presentation at public meetings. Additionally, the contractor's personnel responsible for preparing the three task under Phase I are required to attend and assist in facilitating a number of public review meetings and soliciting public comments. The contractor shall assemble all public comments received, and review, revise, expand and clarify all responses to public comments using appropriate staff experienced in the three tasks under Phase I of the SEIS. A preliminary working draft final Programmatic SEIS (PSEIS) shall be delivered approximately by 7/1/01. The final SEIS shall be completed and ready for printing 2/28/02. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
