Description

The Corps of Engineers has a need for a service contract for drydock and repair of the Government owned and operated "SERVICE BARGE 101". The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and transportation to move and make the required repairs to the subject service vessel. The vessel is used in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic structures for the Pittsburgh District Army Corps of Engineers. The barge is made of all steel, welded construction and was built by Patti Industries in 1989. The dimensions are as follows: Displacement (@ 75% tankage); 1,095 Short Tons; LOA: 150'-0"; Molded Beam: 52'-0"; Depth Amidships (@ side): 9'-5". The vessel must be repaired and returned by 1 May 2001. Award of this contract will be made subject to availability of funds. This procurement is advertised UNRESTRICTED.
