Description

VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with CTI Inc, 810 Innovation Drive, Knoxville, TN 37932 to acquire a full service maintenance contract for a seimens cyclotron particle accelorator (used to make radioactive isotopes) and water system. Services to be included in the contract are as follows: Provide scheduled previentive maintenance visists by factory trained representatives once a month; provide emergency and regular repair service coverage from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (on-site repairs to commence within 2 hours of notification); replacing all defective parts as required during the service calls. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. All proposals received by January 12, 2001 will be considered by the Government. A determination based upon responses to this notice is soley within the descretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
