- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number GS09P01KSC0018 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This solicitation is set-a-side to HubZone Small Business Concerns and associated NAICS code is 56179/SIC 7349. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded for a three (3) year base period with two (2) three year options for a total of nine (9) years. The solicitation is to provide Mechanical Maintenance, Operations and Repair Services at McKevley Building (USGS 15) 345 Middlefield Road, Menlo Park, CA. The provision of 52.212-2-Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Evaluation of offers will be based on price (Best Value), past performance and technical capability. The evaluation factors are approximately equal to price. The provisions of 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Include complete information at provision 52.212-3 with offer. The provisions at 52.212-4 apply to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Order-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. A pre-proposal conference will be held on January 10, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. PST at McKevley Building #15, 345 Middlefield Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025. The RFP is due on January 19, 2001 by 4:00 p.m. PST at 450 Golden Gate Avenue (9PMFC), San Francisco, CA 94102.
