Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for financial management efforts for the Towed Array Handling Equipment Depot. Efforts include the review and analysis of existing depot processes including cost estimating, pricing, budgeting and accounting work processes/systems. Contractor will provide recommendations on incorporating the use of the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT)(cost estimating tool) into the financial management processes. Contractor will also provide recommendations for improvements and criteria for compliance with DoD Financial Management standards. A contract option for implementation support will also be included. A sole source contract to Tecolote Research, Inc is planned. Tecolote is the developer of the ACEIT tool set and has extensive experience applying ACEIT to the DoD estimating/financial management environment, including US Government depot and overhaul operations.
