- NOTE: THIS IS THE THIRD NOTICE. Requirements include the following services to be performed: Wastewater collection, pumping, and disposal systems; Potable water pumping, wells, treatment, storage and distribution systems; Electrical distribution and emergency generation systems; Liquefied petroleum and natural gas distribution systems; Fuel Distribution systems; Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and compressed air and vacuum systems; Buildings and structures; Hazardous waste or material management and disposal; Grounds and surfaced areas; Swimming pools, Elevators; Pest control; Transportation; Messenger mail; Housing; and other services related to a federal public works operation. This list is not intended to be all inclusive but rather to provide an overview of the variety of services required to support the Mission of the Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS. This requirement is a Cost Comparison Study in accordance with Circular A-76 to determine whether it is cost effective to contract out these services or keep in house with Government personnel. The contract will be for a base period of twelve months with two one-year options to extend services with the total contract term not to exceed thirty-six months. This is a negotiated source selection procurement which consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. It is the Government's intention to issue this solicitation exclusively through the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The entire solicitation will be available after 29 January 2001 at the site for viewing or downloading. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the web site. This will normally be the only method of distribution of amendments, therefore it is the offeror's responsibility to periodically check the web site for amendments to the solicitation. The official plan holders list will also be maintained on and can be printed from the web. This procurement is being issued as a total small business set-aside under the SIC of 8744/ NAICS 56121 with the small business size standard of $20,000,000. THIS IS THE THIRD NOTICE.
