Description

1. It is the intention of this solicitation to obtain maintenance and repair services to fire alarm and sprinkler systems, nurse call, intercom and silent response systems, and the integrated electronic security systems at the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. All service technicians assigned to perform work must be trained and certified for maintenance and operation of the Simplex 4120 Network Fire Alarm System, which mnaintins and controls Simplex 4020 Panel System, and Simplex 5100 Head End System. Simplex Time Recorder Co., 2600 Eltham Avenue, Suite 113, Norfolk, Virginia 23513, is the only known source that can meet this requirement. This proposed contract action is for the services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6-302.
