Description

This solicitation covers the requirements for a 50/60 Hz, 208 volt, three-phase, electric-motor-driven lightweight military Environmental Control Unit (ECU). The ECU shall be capable of being installed and operational within 30 minutes. The ECU is intended to cool, heat, dehumidify, filter, and circulate air for the Collectively Protected (CP) Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) shelter. However, the ECU may have general use with other types of CP shelters such as Tent Expandable Modular Personnel (TEMPER) and Modular General Purpose Tent System (MGPTS). The ECU will be used in a fine particle (dusty) environment in Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) and non-NBC modes.
