Description

The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever AFB, CO intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the replacement of the fire detection system on the Fourth Floor of Building 1003 at Onizuka AFS, CA. This acquisition will be restricted to Small Business. Work for this project will include, but is not limited to, replacing existing 240 volt smoke detectors with 24 VDC intelligent smoke detectors; installing Cerberus Pyrotronics fire alarm panel (MXLR) complete with analog alarm modules, card cages, signal circuit modules, main and remote power supplies, and network interface module; software programming; adjustment and testing of new fire detection system; and demolition and removal of the existing high voltage smoke detectors and wiring. The specifications and drawings will specify the work in detail. All offerors must be certified to work on Cerberus Pyrotronics equipment. The NAICS code is 235310. The size standard is $11.5M. The magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance is 150 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The release of the solicitation package has yet to be determined, but is anticipated on or about 22 January 2001.
