Description

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with AT&T to continue services for International calling during the transition period between the existing AT&T service and the new service agreement mandated for use by the Department of Interior. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is based on the mandatory requirement to use MCI for long distance service.
