Description

Y -- Project consists of a reinforced concrete two-bay ogee weir spillway structure designed to discharge 1,460 cfs during non-flood conditions in eastern Canal 51. Structure 155A would be constructed with electrical operating machinery and two vertical lift gates to control discharges. The structure would include a service bridge and riprap protection to protect against erosion. Existing flow would be maintained by construction of a bypass canal during construction. Equipment expected to be utilized: large dump trucks, front-end loader, and dozers will be required to perform subject work. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Invitation for Bids DACW17-01-B-0003 will be issued on or about 26 Jan 2001 and bids will be received on or about 14 Mar 2001. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only.
