Description

Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in accordance with the specifications, schedules, and drawings for Project STL 00-0250, Repair Restrooms located in Bldg 36, 2A. Architectural work shall include the replacemnt of wall and floor tile, installation of a suspended ceilng, replacement of stall partitions, painting of walls, and installation of bathroom accessories. Mechanical work shall include the replacement of water closets and urinals, installation of ceiling exhaust grilles, and demolition of wall mounted radiators, covered pipe and a steam heater. Electrical work shall include the replacement of light fixtures and receptacles, and other minor electrical tasks. The work shall be performed by a general contractor who has several years experience in the renovation of commercial buildings. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EP, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The period of performance is 60 days. The actual construction duration shall be 28 continuous calendar days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. 100% of this project is set-aside for small business. North American Industry Classificaiton System (NAICS) code 23332 and size standard $27.5 million are applicable. The work is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis MO.
