Description

The U. S. Secret Service intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Powell River Laboratory, 139 Valley Court, Oak Ridge, TN 37830, for 300 Winchester Magnum 200 grain, Non-Lead, Frangible bullets. ITEM NO. 0001 -- Cartridge, 300 Winchester, 200 grain, Non-Lead, Frangible bullet. Quantity: 15,000 ea. Delivery: February 15, 2001. F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. Solicitation package is not available. This is a notice of intent to sole source and is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms must submit capability statements and provide written pricing information. Only written responses will be accepted and must be received within seven (7) calendar days of the date of this notice.
