Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), New Jersey intends enter into negotiations with the Boeing Company to procure AN/ASM-686A Intermediate Avionics Test Set (IATS) and various Test Program Sets in support of the F-18 program. IATS supports twenty-eight (28) flight critical Weapon Replaceable Assemblies and is the primary I-level automatic tester for the F-18. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. Responses should reference N68335-99-G-0028 Delivery Order 0022. Information must be received no later than 23 January 2001. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
