Description

The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, FL 32407-7001 intends to issue a purchase order on a competitive basis for the necessary repair services to Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC). The services request is to provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, materials, and services necessary to perform the stated repairs to the lift fan and clutch shaft. These repairs will be done in accordance with Weld Procedures Sheet 17-4 PH which will be furnished upon request of the solicitation. The work will be to perform dimensional restoration of the damaged seal and bearing journal on the lift fan and clutch shaft by applying a tungsten-carbide hard coating vial high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) thermal spray process. Contractors must be certified in Mil-Std-248, Welding and Brazing Procedures, Mil-Std-1687A Thermal Spray Processes and NAVSEA 0655-AA-JPA-010 Job Performance Aif for Metal Sprayed Coated Systems.
