Description

Concerns having the ability to provide Community Corrections Center services for male and female federal offenders in Springfield, Missouri area. A firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a two year base period and three (3) year options is anticipated. Services for the base period are to begin February 1, 2002 and continue through January 31, 2004. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Springfield, Missouri area (Greene, Lawrence, Jasper, Dallas, Polk, and Cedar). Estimated number of inmate days are 25,550 (19,710 males and 5,840 females) for the base period, and 12,775 (9,855 males and 5,840 females) inmate days for option year one, two and three. Estimated issue date is on or about February 5, 2001. Estimated closing date is April 6, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
