334-It is the intenetion of Fish & Wildlife Service, Denver, CO to contract with LECO, Corporation, 3000 Lakeview Avenue, St. Joseph, MI 49085, under the commercial item procedure for: quantity (2) two each, Total Fat and Oil determinator package to include, SFE system, capable of analyzing three samples simultaneously with digital readout, 4 place balance, and start-up operating supplies, 230V, 50/60 Hz, part #TFE2000B. Including quantity (1) one each Printer Dot Matrix Kit and quantity (1) one gas regulator. The purpose of this equipment is to develop feeds for threatened and endagered fish species reared in captivity; evaluation of experimental feeds; evaluation of feed ingredients; quality assurance testing of contract feeds, and; proximate analysis of body composition of test animals. Concerns having the ability to furnish the products desribed herein are requested to give an affirmative response in writing (including telephone nubmer for a point of contact) to the contracting office above within 10-days of publication. TRhe proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 10-days after publiciation of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
