Description

The work shall consist of, but not limited to, installation of new reduced pressure zone, reduced pressure detector, double check, and atmospheric and pressure vacuum breaker backflow prevention devices, associated piping and fittings, pipe insulation, below and above grade protective boxes/vaults, repair of landscape, roadways, and sidewalks, and testing and repair of existing backflow prevention devices. Additional quantities are provided for differing site conditions and installation of additional devices should any additional water services be located at any of the work sites. Period of performance is one base year with two option periods. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. This procurement action is unrestricted. The estimated range is more than $10,000,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 26 February 2001. Solicitation NO. DABT10-01-B-0007 will be available on the Fort Benning web site: www-benning.army.mil/doc. Drawings will be provided upon written request. All responsible bidders may submit a bid which will be considered by this agency.
