Description

Background "This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quotation(RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This RFQ has one line item: Mannequin, Human; Manufacturer: Dorfman Museum Figures, Inc., P/N MANNEQUIN. Life size mannequins with fully formed hands, neck, head, and upper shoulders. Body is composed of a wire frame with molded foam covering to simulate body shape and is fully bendable to be able to pose the mannequin in any lifelike stance. All hair is real. Color, natural skin color, size, lifesize. Justification: Supplies required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies will satisfy agencey requirements due to the nature of this requirement. FOB IS DESTINATION; INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE DESTINATION. SOLICITATION CLOSES 6 FEB 2001."
