Description

This notice is issued to announce a change to the A-76 Contracting Support Office, Columbus, Ohio web address. The website address has changed to http://www.supply.dla.mil/a76/default.asp. This office is currently doing cost comparison studies of Material Distribution Services at several Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Depots. The intent of these studies is to determine the most efficient and cost-effective method of providing distribution services in the management and operation of the DLA depots. These studies will determine whether these services should be performed under contracts with commercial sources or through the federal workforce. The resulting contracts, if any, will be awarded on an all or none basis as fixed price contracts. The contract performance periods will consist of a three year base period with the potential for an additional two-year option period.
