Description

On March 1 and 2, 2001 the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) will host the "13th ANNUAL HIGH-TECH CONFERENCE FOR SMALL BUSINESS" at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel located at 5400 West Century Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. The two-day Conference focuses on subcontracting and marketing opportunities for small, minority, and women-owned businesses in the high-tech industry. During the Marketplace, one-on-one counseling opportunities are available with over 100 prime contractors, government agencies, educational institutions, and other major purchasing organizations to discuss future business opportunities. Several "How-to" Workshops are also offered to present up-to-date information on major programs, small business initiatives, and other small business-related topics of interest. Two networking receptions will provide opportunities to meet key people. A registration fee of $100 per person is due no later than February 14, 2001.
