Description

Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to replacement of existing chillers, furnish and install chilled water pumps, walls, doors, lighting and sprinkler modifications. Furnish and install a replacement heat pump system, an evaporative cooling units, ductwork and controls to open offices. Furnish and install control systems for new equipment, and electrical power supply and controls for above items. Work shall be conducted at Western's Loveland Area Office, located at 5555 E. Crossroads Blvd, Loveland, Colorado. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 to $250,000. Estimated completion date is 150 days after Notice to Proceed. There will only be one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". The solicitation package will be issued hard copy Free of Charge. Note: In accordance with FAR 5.102-3, Western procurement officials will be limiting availability of the solicitation package. Therefore, only a Limited Number of Copies will be issued on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. This solicitation will be issued on or about January 24, 2001. Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The closing date is on or about February 27, 2001. This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Standard Industrial Code is 23332 and the applicable size standard is $27.5 million. See Numbered Note 1.
