Description

See Note 26 DESC: M22 Binoculars (NSN 1240-01-361-1318, PN: 9394727); M24 Binoculars, (1240-01-430-6944, PN: 12961321). The requirements are for a 5-year requirements contract with estimated quantities of 2500 M22 Binoculars per year and 900 M24 Binoculars per year. This will be a best value solicitation. FOB is Origin. Estimated issue date is 31 Jan 01. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. The specification and performance requirement for a laser protection filter array will be contained in a separate classified addendum to the solicitation. In order to obtain a complete solicitation, a facility clearance at the secret level will be required.
