Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to extend the period of performance of the N00019-00-C-0127, which is the current Component Improvement Program (CIP) contract and procure two (2) additional Engineering Program Descriptions (EPDs) in the support of the T-45 Adour (F405) engine. The period or performance will be extended to 31 March 2001. The two (2) additional EPDs are A010-Intercase Flange Failure and B003-Omega Seal. NAVAIRSYSCOM intends to obtain these services and supplies from Rolls-Royce, the sole manufacturer of the F405 series engines and the only firm with the requisite knowledge and expertise to perform the effort.
