Description

The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Eastern Administrative Support Center intends to acquire for the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), a Wellness Coordinator and Fitness Instructor for the Federal Occupational Health Unit. The coordinator's tasks include, but are not limited to, conducting health promotion activities for federal participants to complement those of the other health professionals at NCDC. Currently, approximately 25 to 30 personnel visit the fitness center on a daily basis. Wellness programs should be flexibly designed to capitalize on employee availability and to increase usage of the center by agency personnel. A basic six-month period, plus two one-year priced option periods is contemplated. This action anticipated to be below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00.
